That said, for a few years now we've made gifts of homemade foodstuffs. Everyone loves homemade jams, jellies, sauces, and other preserves. Plus, I don't feel like we're adding to someone's clutter, because it's a consumable item. That also means you can give the same gift the next year in some cases.
